If you are of an active nature and enjoy the outdoors then this is an excellent area to stay.
In the immediate vicinity there  are miles of beautiful country lanes ,green lanes, bridleways and footpaths to enjoy walking along.
There are also over two hundred acres of woodland with public access , along miles of grassy rides , within two miles of Denbury.
There is also access to the ancient scheduled monument that is 'Denbury Down ' an iron age hill fort that is reputed to be the seat of the ancient devon kings.
It is a great area for dog walking and horse riding,
we also can supply stabling and have plenty of covered space for drying wet weather gear and wet boots.
Ramblers will find this a great base for daily outings on Dartmoor , along the
rivers  Dart , Teign or the Bovey , as will birdwatchers , with the local bird watching havens of Stover Park and Dawlish Warren within striking distance.
Nature lovers and wildlife enthusiasts will have a good chance of spotting many of our native mammals in this area including Roe Deer  which
regularly appear in the fields around our house, and the courtyard is a haven for visiting wild birds which come to our feeders.
